Sid Poortinga

Superintendent

Sid started with Pearson Construction May of 1997.  He attended Bellingham Vocational Technical School and over the years he worked through the Carpenter’s Union apprenticeship program.  He graduated in 1999 to a Journeyman and now serves as a Superintendent.

Sid is responsible for site set up, work schedules, work performed in the field and jobsite safety.  He oversees Subcontractor work and makes sure the materials & tools needed for the day are available.

Sid is a member of PNW Regional Council of Carpenters (the Carpenters Union, Local 70).

When he is not working he likes to travel, spending time with family hunting & camping.

  • King Health Tenant Improvement
  • Assumption Church Re-Roof & Exterior Remodel
