WECU Loan Center is a 12,000 sf new office space built to accommodate WECU’s entire Real Estate Loan Dept. It is a building that we built on pilings with concrete grade beams supporting the structure. It’s two-story envelope consists of structural brick, structural steel, and metal stud framing.
The Loan Center was one of the first privately funded LEED projects in Whatcom County. It boasts a specialized HVAC system utilizing under-floor supply plenums on both floors. It’s Electrical System also integrates with the entire building and was “state of the art” at the time of building construction.
